Privacy Policy
How Swift Tree & Landscape collects, uses, and protects information from website visitors and customers. Effective January 1, 2026.
1 · Who we are
Swift Tree & Landscape is a Florida limited liability company providing tree-care, palm-care, stump-grinding, land-clearing, and emergency tree services across the Treasure Coast — St. Lucie, Martin, and Indian River counties.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you visit our website or interact with our team by phone, email, text, or in person.
2 · Information we collect
We collect only what we need to quote, schedule, and complete tree-care work — plus the standard technical data every website logs.
From you, directly
- Contact details — full name, phone, email
- Property address — for on-site assessment
- Service request details — service needed, urgency, free-text description of the job
- Optional photos if you attach them by email or text
- Consent flag — your explicit agreement to be contacted
Automatically, when you visit our site
- IP address, browser user-agent, referring URL, pages visited, timestamps
- Cookies and similar technologies — first-party WordPress session cookies and third-party fonts/embed cookies (Google Fonts preconnect, Google Maps iframe)
3 · How we use it
We use the information you provide to:
- Confirm receipt of your request and reply within our published response windows
- Schedule and perform the on-site assessment
- Issue the written, itemized estimate
- Coordinate permits with local municipalities (Port St. Lucie Ch. 154, St. Lucie / Martin / Indian River county codes, Florida Statute §163.045 arborist documentation)
- Schedule and dispatch the crew
- Provide insurance documentation (Certificate of Insurance) before work begins
- Bill the customer or — on covered storm claims — bill the insurance carrier directly
- Send transactional follow-ups (job-complete confirmation, COI on request, optional review request 24–48 hours after completion)
We do not use your information for unrelated marketing, profiling, or automated decision-making.
4 · How we store and protect it
Lead form submissions are persisted to our WordPress database as private records (custom post type, not publicly indexed). Email notifications are routed to our internal team via standard SMTP. Backups are encrypted at rest. Access is limited to the founders, the dispatch desk, and the estimator assigned to your job.
We retain lead data for as long as you remain an active customer plus four years thereafter for insurance, warranty, and Florida statute-of-limitations purposes. You may request earlier deletion — see Section 7.
5 · Sharing with third parties
We share the minimum necessary information with the following categories of third parties — never with data brokers, never for re-sale.
- Permit-issuing municipalities (City of Port St. Lucie, Martin County, Indian River County) when filing tree-removal permits on your behalf
- Wisetack if you opt in to Wisetack financing — only the information needed to underwrite the loan you requested
- Your insurance carrier when you authorize direct billing on covered storm claims
- Our hosting provider for the operational running of this website
- Google for embedded Maps and fonts on this site (limited to standard web analytics signals)
- Law enforcement if compelled by valid Florida or federal subpoena
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
6 · Cookies and analytics
This site uses first-party WordPress session cookies for normal site operation. Third-party cookies are limited to what is necessary to load fonts (Google Fonts) and embed our service-area map (Google Maps). We do not run a behavioral-advertising pixel.
You can disable cookies in your browser without losing access to any part of this site.
7 · Your rights
You may at any time:
- Request a copy of the information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your lead-form data (subject to records-retention requirements for completed jobs and active insurance claims)
- Opt out of further follow-up communications
Email [email protected] or call (772) 773-6676 and we will respond within five business days.
8 · Children
Our services and this website are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we may have inadvertently collected such information, contact us and we will delete it.
9 · Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of this site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
